The client was spending hours every single day answering the same WhatsApp messages. Product questions, booking requests, price enquiries. The questions were always the same, the answers were always in their head, and there was no system to handle it while they slept or were busy with actual work. They needed a solution that felt natural to customers but required zero manual effort on their end.
The approach
- Built a full WhatsApp integration using the WhatsApp Business API connected to a custom AI layer
- The bot handles customer queries using a response model grounded in the client’s actual FAQ content, product catalogue, and booking logic
- For anything outside its scope, it hands off cleanly to a human with full conversation context already included — no loops, no dead ends, no threads that stop mid-conversation and never get resolved
The result
80% of incoming messages handled without any human involvement. The client went from spending three hours a day on WhatsApp to checking in once to handle the edge cases the bot flags for human review. Running live with zero major failures since launch.
